Did anyone see Still Game on BBC1 on the 21st October?
Part of the episode was set in the City Chambers in Glasgow, although I think parts of it may have been filmed in a location meant to look like the City Chambers while not actually being filmed there. One scene set in a corridor had a war memorial at the end of it, although it was too brief to make out any names or any detail in particular.
I'm curious to know where that scene was shot, and if we have that memorial in particular.
Here's some screenshots:
Looks like it's to a congregation - New Fr? ? Congregation? It was too brief to make out the full inscription, but it's probably a church.
Any ideas? |

Well spotted David!
Presumably a wee phone call to the City Chambers would answer the question?

I'm fairly sure this isn't in the City Chambers, it's a church memorial. |

I have just spoken with BBC and now await a reply from them, hopefully with all the information. It may take up to 10 days for an answer but it will be worth the wait if we get the info we need.

Reply received from BBC says,
The location in question is the Kelvin Stevenson Memorial Parish Church – on Belmont Street in the West End of Glasgow.
The photographs are already on the website.
