The Old Cemetery and the Churchyard were previously separate onthe CWGC registers, but as they are adjacent they have clearly been merged into one.

Number of identified CWGC burials: 5

The churchyard also contains a Covenanter grave and also the grave of a man present at the Battle of Waterloo. The cemetery and churchyard contain a number of stones commemorating men buried elsewhere.

This photo is of the old Cemetery. The Churchyard entrance is out of shot to the left of this photograph.

Private Dixon Vallance served in the 79th Cameron Highlanders at the Battle of Waterloo, where he was wounded.

Died at Carluke on the 29th October 1876 aged 84 years.

The stone has been "repaired" since my initial visit to the churchyard some years ago. The inscription is much harder to read now.
