Several military men mentioned here.

Major George Hubert Hugh Edmondstoune-Cranstoun
, who died 31st March 1947. He served in WW1 with the Lanarkshire Yeomanry and the Royal Tank Corps.

Colonel Charles Joseph Edmondstoune-Cranstoun of Corehouse. He was awarded the DSO, Croix de Guerre, the Territorial Decoration and was Mentioned in Despatches twice. He served withthe 6th Gordon Highlanders and also with the Lanarkshire Yeomanry at some point. He died 7th July 1950.

Pilar Eliza Mary Edmondstoune-Cranstoun was married to:

GORDON, ALISTER FRASER

Awards:C M G, D S O, Mentioned in Despatches

Additional Information:Husband of Pilar Mary Gordon, of 10, Onslow Gardens, London. Served in the Ashanti campaign (1900) and the South African War.

Finally, their daughter Mary was married to Colonel Archibald John George Hope of Luffness. He served in the Royal Artilley in the Second World War and was Mentioned in Despatches. He was also awarded the MBE and died on 18th January 1987.
