On Dunblane War Memorial is commemorated Driver William McArthur.

He has been identified as William McArthur No. 22788, Royal Field Artillery who was discharged on the 7th May, 1918 through Diabetes Mellitus - attributable to nervous strain through active service.

He died on 14th March, 1919 through Diabetes Mellitus.

Details to Terry Denham this morning and a case to be forwarded for consideration.

It seems William McArthur's elder brother Duncan Kennedy McArthur served with the Canadians:
