I'd be interested to hear of any memorials that mention civilian or military casualties caused by the Zeppelin raids on Edinburgh and the surrounding area. _________________ Researching all aspects of the memorial plaques and scrolls.
Also researching the air raids of 1915 - 1918 on the UK |

Hello Pete,
Welcome to the forum. As I recall there is a small bronze plaque at the base of the castle rock below Edinburgh Castle, in Princes Street Gardens, commemorating the Zepplin Raid on Edinburgh. I'm afraid I don't have a pic but maybe other members can help. |

I realise it is a bit late in the day but I only just noticed this thread. I have a picture of the plaque from Edinburgh Castle. It does not mention casualties, but simply records where a bomb landed. Contact me if you want a copy.
