Lonmay - Banff & Buchan District, Fraserburgh Area.
UKNIWM Ref No. 8602

The monument is a tall slender grey granite cross with octagonal shaft and small cross head in the style of a Churchyard Cross which stands on a square pedestal which in turn rests on two steps. The commemoration and names of the dead are listed in black letters on the faces of the pedestal.
This is the Parish of Lonmay memorial which stands in the Churchyard but as there are no other memorials that I know of I think this can be treated as the civic memorial for the community.
