James Brown Montgomerie-Fleming.

This man is also listed on the Kelvinside Academy War Memorial. Seems he had more strings to his bow. According to Wikipedia

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Fleming_(footballer)

James Brown Montgomerie 'Jim' Fleming (8 March, 18841917) was a professional footballer who played for St Bernards, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Armadale Thistle.

Football career
Fleming began his career at St Bernards before joining Newcastle United in 1912 where he participated in four matches. The right half signed for Tottenham Hotspur in 1913 and featured in a further 19 matches and finding the net on three occasions. Fleming moved onto Armadale Thistle where he ended his playing career.

Some interesting stuff (well for us Glaswegians) about the Montgomerie and Fleming families - and the Tennants of Wellpark (cheers) - and the Kelvinside Estate at:

We already had a Glasgow Art club thread from 2010.

Since there are fewer posts I'll copy the information over and move it out of this section into the vault so we don't have a duplicate.

What I will do is copy the information into the appropriate posts in this thread.

Thanks

Adam
