From my own experience, the existence of these grants is still not widely known, even amongst those striving to get repairs and renovations done to their war memorials. So if you do get a chance to 'plug' these grants, please do so. If we spend all the money available, then that will show the need and give us a chance to campaign for more.

There is an article in the Stirling Observer 27.8.2014 (page 17) regarding the refurbishment of the war memorial in Corn Exchange Road. The article mentions the award from War Memorials Trust Centenary Memorials Restoration Fund of £29,853 plus grants from Clackmannanshire and Stirlingshire Environment Trust of £4000 and Stirling Common Good Fund of £5961. The work is being carried out by Stirling City Heritage Trust and will take several weeks to complete. The memorial is a category B Listed structure.
There are also two photographs.

Thanks Adam. This was an article (with photos) of the work actually being carried out. I though members of the forum would like to know that work was progressing.
