Sadly little person stuff Paul. These fellows were my Grandfather's brothers. He moved down to Oxford in 1926 approx and I have only just begun reseaching, but finding things like this will ensure I will remember them.

From The Scotsman, Monday 12th June 1950.

    MEMORIAL UNVEILED

The unveiling of the reconstructed Bannockburn memorial was performed yesterday by Sir Ian F. C. Bolton, of West Plean, Lord-Lieutenant of Stirlingshire. The obelisk replaces the original memorial of a kilted soldier erected in front of the new Town Hall after the 1914-18 war, and commemorates the names of the men of Bannockburn and district who lost their lives in both world wars.
