On the WW1 section of the Airdrie War Memorial is the name KAV ARCH.

There doesn't appear to be any missing letters and I cannot see him on CWGC, SNWM, SDGW or on Scotlandspeople.
So who is he?????

There's an Archibald KAY, private in the seaforths, enlisted Airdrie, died 1 July 1915.... could it be him?

Also
17 July 1915 , Hamilton Advertiser Page 5 has info.
