I'm sure I read somewhere - I think it was a newspaper article from just after the First World War - that one in eight of those from Falkirk who served in the First World War died. I can't remember if I saw it here. There's nothing on the Falkirk thread. Can anyone remember if such a thing was posted here on the SWMP?
