Of wounds gallantly received in the Battle of Arras

Departed this life in Thy Faith and Fear

A Memorial Tablet in memory of Lieutenant Alan Kennedy Williamson, 8th Argylls, who was killed in action in France, will shortly be placed in St. Mary’s Church, Aberfoyle. Lieutenant Williamson was the son of the Rev. Mr. Williamson, who was for a number of years incumbent of St. Mary’s

On Thursday of last week a tablet placed in St. Mary’s Church in remembrance of Lieutenant Alan Kennedy Williamson, was dedicated by the Bishop of Argyll and the Isles. Lieutenant Williamson, who was killed in action in France, was the son of Rev. H. L. Williamson, a former incumbent of St. Mary’s. Among those present were the Very Rev.
