St Ninian’s Old Parish Church, Stirling
National Grid Reference (NGR): NS 79650 91700
Address
Kirk Wynd
Stirling
Stirling
FK7 9AY
Scotland
This church was built to replace an earlier structure that was destroyed when gunpowder stored in it by the Jacobite army exploded. The tower that was attached to the earlier building survived the explosion and is one of the landmarks of the district. The tower is still the belfry of the Parish Church.
