Location: At the foot of the Ochil Hills,on St. Andrews Road, about one mile from Causewayhead beside the junction of the A91 and the B998.

Logie Kirk also has a Roll of Honour which was completed in 1920 and hangs in the vestibule.
I made various attempts to take close ups of the names, without any success! (Added to the list for a return visit!) |

Logie Parish Church
A brass tablet was dedicated in memory of 57 sailors and soldiers connected with the Church and Parish who made the supreme sacrifice during the war. It only includes those connected with the Parish of Logie, not those from Bridge of Allan or Menstrie. It is situated on the North wall of the church

To the Glory of God and in blessed memory of officers, non-commissioned officers and men connected with this church and parish who made the supreme sacrifice in the Great War

Thanks Ken, that's fascinating. I only looked him up in particular because of the mention of Nyasaland - I think the last time I heard that country's name was in my stamp collecting years as a teenager! |
