Hi all,
I noticed yesterday that inside the church there is a plaque with names on from the Great War. Is there a photo of it on the forum anywhere? I didn't have my camera on me so couldn't take a picture at the time...

Stirling Observer 11 November 1919
Fallin and District War Memorial
A memorial erected to those of Fallin, Millhall and Loanhead who made the supreme sacrifice during the great war was unveiled by Major A B Murray of Polmaise. It takes the form of a grey granite obelisk, 14 foot in height and has been erected in the church grounds facing the public road. The memorial is of excellent workmanship and is by William Boddie, Aberdeen.
There follows a transcription of the inscription and a list of names.
It is interesting to note that Major A B Murray of Polmaise also unveiled the memorial inside St Ninian's Old Parish Church; he lost his only son Alastair, Cameron Highlanders, in September 1914 at the Battle of the Aisne.

The memorial erected to the men of Fallin, Throsk, Millhall and Kersemill cost £269
At the first Armistice Day in Fallin, a wreath was carried by Master John Cochrane who lost two brothers and Masters Williamson, Dawson and Lyle who each lost their fathers.
