That's very frustrating that there is nothing more to go on. I wonder if his family had land in the area and he wasn't a local?
It's not a common name in Scotland. I wonder if he was the same man as the one listed on the Corstorphine memorial?

I've tried the 1915 & 1920 Valuation Rolls, the 1901 and the 1911 Census - no Bradshaws listed in the area at all (that I can see), so it's not looking as if there were any other family members around, which makes it even more strange.
There is a local'ish man in the area listed on 4 different village memorials who shouldn't 'in theory' be on any as his death wasn't attributed directly to war service. He was obviously thought well worthy of inclusion by the folk of those 4 villages! (Balfron, Drymen, Gartmore & Killearn).

Hi Anne
Adam is right. He is on the Corstorphine memorial. I copy the entry from my Corstorphine ROH below. Just for information, the Royal Scots link comes from the death notice in the Edinburgh Evening News. The 4/5th BW entry comes from the medal rolls and the Farm Servant from Bucklyvie comes from the biographical note in the Edinburgh Evening News.
Regards
LIT
