Anne
Margaret Mackenzie from Shieldaig was also lost. She is comemorated on the memorials at Shieldaig and Torridon.
James Mitchell from Wormit who was residing in Manchester in 1915 was lost. He was a businessman returning from Canada in a first class cabin. His is listed on the Harris Academy war memorial in Dundee.
Duncan Bain from Partick was a crewman and is listed on the parish church memorial. He is listed as a Steward on the memorial but fireman on the CWGC database. He is listed on the Tower Hill memorial.
Because Mitcell and Mackenzie were civilians they are not commemorated.
Thanks

That's a shame they had no information. If I recall from my visit it there a few years ago they had little about the war on display.
Thanks
