The church was located at 15 Edwin Street (off Paisley Road).
Began in 1874 when, to meet the needs of the great and growing population in this district, the directors of the Glasgow Free Church Building Society erected a hall in which services were held under the supervision of the Free Wynd congregation. The charge was sanctioned in 1874, being the first Free Church to the west of Paisley Road Toll which, until a few years earlier, had marked the City Boundary. The church was built in 1876. Terminated on 8th June 1958 on uniting with White Memorial as Cessnock. Now part of KINNING PARK CHURCH.

Extracted from the In Memoriam Book located in Kinning Park Church, Eaglesham Place, Glasgow G51 1PS
