We have a few liberation memorials on our forum - mostly large well known ones with statues - but my experience of visits to France is that many towns have plaques marking the day they were liberated and I have a feeling there must be more out there we should be recording.

The 15th, 51st and 52nd Divisions were all in Western Europe in 1944-45 and must have liberated a fair few towns in their time.

Some of them will already be on the Outside Scotland section of the forum but I think it's worth highlighting these special memorials in their own section.
