Just discovered book 'Monumental Inscriptions of the Graveyard at Meadowfoot, Wanlockhead' compiled by Bernice and Ray Jordan on behalf of friends of Wanlockhead Museum, 1999.
I found that of the 16 men on the WM there are 10 graves in Meadowfoot:- 1.Patrick Charles Bentley Blair, photo on Page 23; he was the son of Rev Blair who was minister of Wanlockhead for 37 years.
2/3. William Lorimer McCall and Thomas McCall were brothers, photos found on page 32.
4. Andrew McKean photo on page 32.
5. Adam Sharp photo on page 34.
6. Charles Mitchell photo on page 30.
7. Alexandra Howland photo on page 28.
8. Robert Slimmon photo on page 35.
9. John Kerr photo on Page 29. and 10. John Mitchell photo on page 31.
Note - photo's pages refer to above roll book which spoons found.
Have copies of the inscriptions and sometime will try to go and take photos of the graves.

From The Scotsman, 25 September 1920.

    WAR MEMORIALS

WANLOCKHEAD.— The war memorial was unveiled by Mr J. I. McConnel, the Rev. C. P. Blair, and the Rev. G. G. Ramage, Mr W. G. Wilson, chairman of the War Memorial Committee; and Mr T. Gracie, secretary of the War Memorial Committee. The monument takes the form of a soldier in fighting order with arms reversed. The figure is 6 feet high, cut in marble, and is supported by a column of granite, on the face of which are cut the names of the sixteen natives who made the supreme sacrifice.
