Hugh McCall, Private (11036) 2nd Bn. Scots Guards. Age 28.
Born 1887 in Bargrennan, Kirkcudbrightshire. Son of James and Jane (McCrae) McCaull of Suie, Bargrennan.
Hugh had been a Policeman in the City of Glasgow "C" Division for 6 years and was living at 156 Dalmarnock Road when he enlisted in September 1914.
Missing in action 16 May 1915 and listed on Le Touret Memorial, France.
Also listed on the Bargrennan War Memorial and on the Glasgow Roll of Honour.

I think this might be Andew Struthers Rae, born Kirkcudbright and a policeman. NoK at Rutherglen, Glasgow.

Robert Miller, Lance Corporal (10031) 1st Battalion, Scots Guards. Age 22.
Born 1893 in Kirkinner, Wigtownshire. Son of Thomas and Elizabeth Miller of Rispain Farm, Glasserton and, later, of Cutcloy, Isle of Whithorn, Wigtownshire. Robert had been a policeman in the City of Glasgow "F" Division for 3 years and was living in Springburn when he enlisted in September 1914.
Killed in action 8 April 1915 and buried in the Cabaret-Rouge British Cemetery, Souchez, France. Also named on the Glasserton Parish War Memorial and on the Whithorn Burgh War Memorial.

and doesn't he look like a guardsman?
