Aultbea War Memorial
UKNIWM Ref: 44800
O/S map ref: NG 878 888
N57 50.330 W5 34.500
Located at the side of the A832 as it leaves Aultbea for Dundonnel and the north.
It lists 34 names from the Great War, 8 from the Second World War.
I’m not sure what criteria was used to establish in what order the names were listed on the memorial but I find it strange to see that the Scottish Horse has 2 separate listings, the first for an officer, the second for an “other rank”.
