|
|
Aberdeen Press and Journal - Saturday 27 October 1934
The villagers of Kershader in the Island of Lewis have replaced their war memorial with a more becoming structure. The original memorial was erected shortly after the war, but the villagers were not satisfied with its appearance, and a short time ago they set on foot a fund to enable them to replace it with another structure. The fund was almost entirely subscribed by villagers at home and abroad. |
