The current building at the corner of Chapelwell Street and Vernon Street in Saltcoats dates from 1866. The Church has had various name changes viz:-
West United Presbyterian Church
Erskine United Free Church
Erskine Church
New Trinity Church
Ardrossan and Saltcoats Kirkgate Parish Church
Fuller history of the Church at www.kirkgate.org.uk
Difficult to get a good picture of the Church at present due to a recent car accident which demolished a large part of the wall outside the building. Will publish a photograph in due course.
Whilst attending an ecumenical service in the Church discovered it had a WW1 memorial.
