Dundee Evening Telegraph, 4th May, 1916. "CANADIAN WITH ALYTH CONNECTION KILLED
Private David Murison, Canadian Regiment, was killed in action, April 12. Private Murison, who was 29 years of age, went out to Canada ten years ago, but was often home on visits. He joined in Canada and went through his training there. He went to the front two months ago. Private David Murison was born at Pollockshields, Renfrewshire.
