New Byth - Banff & Buchan, Banff District
UKNIWM Ref No. 8611

The New Byth war memorial is a grey granite pillar surmounted by sphere and set on a square pedestal which in turn rests on a base of rustic blocks. The commemoration and names of the dead are listed in painted lettering on the face of the pedestal. The memorial is surrounded and enclosed by an iron railing.
The monument stands in the town square.
