The 18th HLI (4th Glasgow) on 23 September 1917 absorbed HQ and two Squadrons of dismounted Glasgow Yeomanry and was retitled as 18th (Glasgow Yeomanry) Battalion [Long, Long Trail]
It looks like Paxton was transferred again to the 1/9th HLI. _________________ Ken |
