Hello All,

Fauldhouse Memorial has a Donald Farquhar serving in the Royal Scots.

I cannot find a Donald Farquhar, however there is a Daniel Farquhar, 15664, Royal Scots. Daniel's family was living 149 Reekie Row, Fauldhouse on 1901 Census.

The name above Donald Farquhar is Neil Donald. Wondering if this could be an error and the chap who did the names still had Donald in his head?

Mags - there are just three medal cards for Donald Farquhar on the National Archives site and none are Royal Scots.

Even using just D Farquhar doesn't give any Royal Scots.
Using Daniel gets only your man.
You could well be right - makes sense to me Smile

or maybe he was known locally as Donald Confused
