Here are some more photos of Eyemouth's memorial:

Note the Second World War is described as the Great War II 1939-1945. Note also Fishermen are commemorated and also a casualty from Egypt 1952.

The names of Leonard Robertson and John Wood appear togther at the top of the name panels on the memorial.

And the boys are buried together at Ramleh in Israel - my thanks to MichaelDR for the great photo of the 2 Borderers who lie together so far from home:

The Scotsman, Tuesday 21st December 1920, Page 8.

Eyemouth

A handsome Celtic cross, executed in Peterhead granite, the work of Mr. Rhind, sculptor, Edinburgh, was unveiled to the memory of the 62 men of the Burgh of Eyemouth, by Capt. G. B. Balfour, Lord-Lieutenant of the County of Berwickshire. Prior to the unveiling ceremony a service was held in the church.
