I really enjoyed seeing these pics. There can't be many of these to have survived beyond The Second World War. |

Not even the Second World War. Quite a few didn't escape angry mobs in the 1920s. Famously the one dumped in Dornoch was recovered a few years ago in pretty good condition.

Colonel Sir Donald Walter Cameron , XXV Chief of the Clan Cameron , was wounded in action

This looks like a 7.7 cm FK 96 n.A. Can anyone confirm if this is the case?
