Bothwellhaugh is another "lost" Lanarkshire mining village. It was located where Strathclyde Park is now.

More information on Bothwellhaugh can be found here

In Strathclyde Park today there is a memorial cairn to the village. It can be found just opposite M&D's "Theme" park.

Please note that this casualty is also commemorated on the Singapore Memorial. However, recent research discovered that they were buried within the monastery grounds at Mewaing village, but as these graves cannot be maintained, the commission has now commemorated them by special memorial plaques in this cemetery.
