Ive just found on the internet a website with photos and information on the Memorial itself

KINLOCHEWE CAIRN , high above the A832 just east of KINLOCHEWE .

the Cairn is to

MAJOR ANGUS J.D. MACDONALD , MC.
1/6 Gurkha Rifles , killed in action Malaya 3rd June 1952

(the wording was compiled by his Uncle Mr James MacDonald ex Chief Constable of Arbroath Burgh Police and former Curator of the Clan Museum at Newtonmore .)


I cant see any entry on this website for this KINLOCHEWE CAIRN and if it is already on I will remove this entry

The Glasgow Herald 7 June 1952 reported
Major Angus James Donald Macdonald of the Gurkha Rifles, who was killed by terrorists in North Perak on Tuesday, was in 1950 awarded a Bar to the Military Cross for gallantry in Malaya with the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.
