I wonder what the relationship between the two Joseph Snaddon's on this memorial is? The namesakes died less than a month apart and were in the same battalion.
(Glasgow Herald 29th May 1915)
"Private Joseph Snaddon, 7th A. and S.H. (T.), was killed at Ypres. He worked as a miner with the Alloa Coal Company. He was 22 years of age, and leaves a widow and one child."

On ancestry, there are service records for both of them, and a third Joseph Snaddon with the service number 1683 also from Coalsnaughton and in the Argylls... three different addresses though.  |
