UKNIWM: 17709

Coldingham United Free Church became "Coldingham St Andrew's" at the reunion of 1929. It united with Coldingham Priory on 6th October 1940, as Coldingham, although nowadays 'Coldingham Priory' is typically used.

Coldingham St Andrew's church was sold to French of Coldingham, a local bus firm - they put big doors in one end and used it as the bus garage. Its adjacent hall was retained in use although following a recent reordering of the Priory church with flexible seating it is to be disposed of. Later the old St Andrew's building was demolished by the bus firm to make yard space, with parts of the church's Victorian tiled floors still visible in the forecourt...

Therefore the plaque is now in Coldingham Priory Parish Church.
