7 of the 8 men are among the 13 listed on Longformacus civic memorial... Waldie being the exceptional... and these same 7 are among the same 13 on the Longformacus Parish 'Roll of Honour'.
Both the Holmes... plus Archibald Waldie... also appear on the Cranshaws Church 'Roll of Honour'.
There was a United Free Church in Longformacus.
Nearest Roman Catholic and Episcopal churches were in Duns. |
