John McNAB joined the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders Territorial Force on 29 May 1908 at Port Ellen, aged 17 years and 8 months. At that time he was a clerk at P.J. Mackie & Co., Port Ellen.
He served in France & Flanders from 1 May 1915.
John McNAB was invalided out of the army in January 1918 because of pulmonary TB. He died at home on Islay in May 1919. |
