He is James William Morrison Bonnyman as Anna has already confirmed. Birth record supports this.

Does anyone have the unveiling details.in particular the designer?
The Scottish Dictionary of Architects lists John Kinross with Birnie Rhind but it would be good to have newspaper/other confirmation.

Memorial unveiled Sunday 12th April, 1925.
It was reported that Mr William Birnie Rhind, R.S.A., who designed the memorial, was present at the ceremony.
An earlier article reported that the memorial cost in excess of £3000.

ABERDEEN PRESS AND JOURNAL: 13.04.1925

THE MEMORIAL

In the design for the monument, the sculptor, Mr W. Birnie Rhind, R.S.A., shows what he considers an appropraite combination of architecture and sculpture to suit the site. The sculptural group represents a Gordon Highlander and an R.N. Reservist. The flag is placed in the soldier's hand as a symbol of patriotism, and also as a hand to the artistic effect of the monument.
The pedestal is executed in Leoch freestone, which was highly commended by the sculptor; in the front on the cartouche are carved the Seal and Arms of Buckie, and the names of the fallen are inscribed on the other three panels. The pedestal is 13 feet high and 10 feet square under the base, while the figures of the group stand 8 feet high above the plinth. To the top of the flag from the plinth measures between 10 and 11 feet.

I expect these will be the two WW2 Reaich names. All Reaich names at this memorial are "W" Reaich's and only the two WW2 are correct with that initial.
WW1 name was George Reaich (see page 11 of this thread).
