Died:26 October 1915, killed in action.
Age: 25
Buried: Green Hill Cemetery, Turkey. I, E, 16.
Notes: 1901 Census at Rose Hill, Torryburn. Age 11.

Rank: Private.
Regiment: Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders, 7th Battalion
Killed in action: 23 February 1918.
Awarded: British War Medal and Victory Medal (Medal Roll G/103 B12, page 605).

My notes:
Born about 1892 in the Dunfermline district of Fife.
Appeared on the 1901 Census at Crombie, Torryburn, Fife. Age 9. Scholar. His father Robert LOTHIAN was a ploughman.
Enlisted: 31 October 1915 at Dunfermline. Occupation: Police Constable. Address: 180 Pittencrieff Street, Dunfermline.
Wounded: 30 November 1917 - severe shrapnel wounds to left thigh and face. Treated at the 91st Field Ambulance but died 2 days later.

The William Phillip listed should actually be William Philp, my great grandfathers youngest brother.
