I hear that there is a MEMORIAL GARDENS at INVERGORDON to
HMS NATAL that exploded in 1915 killing many on board.


On 30th December 1915 , HMS Natal was in the Cromarty Firth with her Squardon and Capt Eric Back was hosting a party for the families and nurses from the hospital ship when and explosions took place .
Seems that 390 to 421 persons perished


The site is designated a "War Grave "
