The following are photos taken in the 1990's David. At that time the memorial tablet was on the external wall of the kirk on the Main Street. The new memorial tablets look to be a straight transcription of the old ones. I havn't been there for a while and don't know if the old ones have gone or what the reason was for setting up a new memorial.

The reason that the memorial was moved was due to the church being sold (along with others) and them being converted to housing
a great deal of arguing as to where the memorial should be sited was had by all _________________ Joseph yeardly |

It looks very much like it from these more recent photos http://www.wlfhs.org.uk/longridge.php
