I was contacted recently by Anthony R McGregor, son of the above. He informs me that his father was 33 years old at the time of his death (date of birth was 15th May 1908), his place of birth was Airdrie and his middle name was MacDonald, not McDonald. He had lived and worked in Java, which was why he enlisted in an Indian unit.

Anthony intends to contact the CWGC to have this additional information added as he has official documentation which confirms the information.
