Not to be confused with the shopping centre of the same name, this is the village of Braehead.

Despite this being a tiny village consisting of one main street and at most three side streets, I had to visit this village twice to find the memorial.

    WAR MEMORIALS

    BRAEHEAD.— Captain Walter E. Elliot, M.C., M.P., unveiled a memorial on Sunday erected to the memory of the soldiers from Braehead (Lanarkshire) and district who had fallen in the war. Mr T. H. Hamilton presided.

The following framed Roll of the Fallen, which includes the names for Braehead, is on display in the Forth Royal British Legion Scotland branch.
