Hello, just to say that Charles Grant the son of John and Mary Grant was from Delfur Cottage not 'Delgur'. Would be grateful if anyone knows anything aobut his father John Grant's death as I cannot find a death certificate for him. He was a gamekeeper at Delfur Lodge and born 28/9/1858.

I just checked and found that on Ancestry there is someone researching Charles Grant. I found out he was born 31 July 1890.

That's really interesting Anne, his younger sister Jessie Anne Grant was my maternal grandmother. That's what started my search as her daughter Jemima Grant (my mother) has just died.
