Well I just wanted to say as part of the team I so enjoy researching and giving info to the site. Keeping going from strength to strength. |

Thanks Anne. It's great to see what's been built here over the past six years.
The next year or so will hopefully see some great things happening - watch this space! |

You just have to look at what John is recording in Glasgow just now. There are still hundreds of rolls of honour and church and school memorials to be "found" and shared.
And then there is the research into all the names to do. We've done a huge amount over the last six years but there is still lots for us out there to unearth.
Happy birthday to us!

Even when you think you have covered the ground, you can go back and find more. Up a tower in a church where you didn't think to look. In a field up a hill. In a box of papers in a vestry. A new memorial that wasn't there last time I visited. All of these I have found in places I have already been - just been given info about 2 rolls of honour in a village hall - one more to add to the list.

Just adding my congratulations to everyone who has done so much to provide such a great resource on memorials and casualties in the last six years.
Derek. |
