The Great War Memorial, which thankfully survives, is on a tablet outside Moneydie Parish Church - now disused.
I managed to get a look through the window and it appears the only plaque inside, adjacent the pulpit, is to a former minister. However, there may be another which I just cannot see.
You will notice that Andrew Scott's name has been carved into the tablet after the memorial was completed;
An initial look suggests only one possibility but he is 1st Battalion B.W. not 6th:

I could not find a casualty report for Isaac whilst trawling the papers. The only entry was an "in memorium" at a later date inserted by "his friends".

There may be school registers for Coupar Angus in the archives at AK Bell but I have not made enquiries in that direction.

I seem to remember a piece in the local papers regarding Coupar Angus School having a ROH book made at some point, covered in a lovely blue cloth, I think. Again, I didn't make enquiries about this or know not if it still exists.
