PERTH CAPTAIN KILLED
Word has been received by his wife that Captain David Crockart, R.A.S.C. 51st Highland Division, only son of Mr and Mrs David B. Crockart, 152 Glasgow Road, Perth, has been killed in action in North Africa.

Captain Crockart who was 28 years of age joined the territorials in March 1933 and before the outbreak of war was acting adjutant with his unit.

He saw service in France and was evacuated with most of the echelon of which he had command.
He was posted overseas with the 51st Division in the summer of last year.

Prior to enlisting he was in business with his father as gunmaker.
