A poignant memorial for me. My grandfather, R.S.M. Andrew Dewar, Black Watch was evacuated, my g-uncle Pvt. James Dewar, Black Watch, was captured and interred at Malbork POW Camp, Poland (sustaining serious injuries after a beating from German guards) and my g-uncle Malcolm Dewar killed;

Hello,
I sent a PM to dhubthaigh. I saw it's an old message ( 2012) and have no idea if someone will answer. I'm looking for contact with family of Malcolm Dewar. L/Sgt Dewar is buried in our village Anzegem, Belgium and for a commemoration project we are looking for information and a photograph. Date of death 1st June is not correct. It was a very chaotic period, L/Sgt got killed on 23/05/1940, was buried in a fieldgrave and in 1941 reburied in our cemetery.
With kind regards from Flanders.
Take care stay safe,
Jef
