The Royal Auxiliary Air Force National Memorial was unveiled by His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester on 25th September 2004, marking the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Auxiliary Air Force.

The memorial has panels listing all the Auxiliary Air Force units, many of which have Scottish connections.
