Previous to enlistment, Mill House, Inverurie Paper Mills, Lance Corporal, 9th Gordon's wounded in France in the head by a shell on 27 Mar 1918 , died in Bath Military Hospital, 05 May 1918 buried 09 May 1918 at St. Mary's, Age. 20 yrs. Brother Robert also died. Inverurie (St Mary) Episcopalian Churchyard U. K. Inverurie S W of Church Inverurie & Kintore
