There are only two on CWGC but which one has an Aberdeen connection?

I could only find one. There are 3 R. Northway's. Reginald C. - Richard J. M. and this man
NORTHWAY, ROBERT STANLEY
Rank:Rifleman
Service No:50125
Date of Death:12/11/1918
Regiment/Service:Rifle Brigade
13th Bn.
Grave ReferenceXIII. A. 16.
CemeteryBROOKWOOD MILITARY CEMETERY
Additional Information:
Son of Winslow P. and Mary J. Northway, of 130, Strothin Avenue, Fresno, California.

but like you Anne, cannot see any Aberdeen link - and there is no sign of a Robert, a Winslow or a Mary Northway on scotlandspeople.

This man appears on the Canadian Virtual WM and on the Canadian Great War Project- so I guess he was a Canadian.

Ken

Like you, I could only find one Robert on CWGC. I am pretty sure that is not him as he is clearly an American, of US born parents, who was in Canada before enlisting in the Rifle Brigade.
The Aberdeen man might not have qualified as a war death, even then he is not on the City Roll.

I am putting a case to MOD / CWGC for L Sjt. Michael Joseph Murphy as a service related death.
